§ 9.48.070. Obstructing hydrants.

No person shall deposit or permit to remain any dirt, refuse or other obstruction on any public street or alley within 20 feet of any city fire hydrant. Except, when street improvements or excavations are being made by the city, utility companies, or others pursuant to a permit issued by city, such obstructions shall be permitted so long as access to hydrants and gate valves is kept unobstructed at all times during such improvement work.
