§ 9.20.030. Public place or place open to the public defined.

  • The terms "public place or place open to the public" as used in this chapter shall not include any of the following:

    A.

    Residences and residential property, whether individual or group, nor any common area or recreation facility appurtenant to such residence, used with the consent of the owner or person with managing authority over such residence or common areas.

    B.

    Facilities owned, leased or rented by any nonprofit corporation or charitable organization, duly registered as such with the Internal Revenue Service, the state of California or the county of Los Angeles, for the purpose of raising funds for such corporation or organization.
