§ 4.24.020. Surtax rates.

Latest version.

Every bill for light and power under "the light and power rate ordinance" shall be subject to a surtax at the following rates:

First $1,000 of monthly bill	2%
Next $4,000 of monthly bill	1 ½%
Next $20,000 of monthly bill	1%
Over $25,000 of monthly bill	½%

No surtax shall be charged or collected on monthly bills totalling less than $5.00, nor shall such surtax be charged or collected on bills rendered under Section 7 of "the light and power rate ordinance."
