§ 3.23.050. Nondedicated open space.

  • There exists within the city certain open space which is used for park or recreation use but which is not dedicated for any purpose pursuant to Article XVI of the Charter. It is the intent of the city to encourage the dual use of land, the use of open space, landscaped areas in the urban environment, grounds around all public buildings, and on the roofs and decks of structures used for other purposes for limited park and recreational use either temporarily or otherwise, without detrimentally affecting the title to land primarily acquired and used for nonpark purposes:

    Ludwigshafen Plaza at Pasadena Center;

    B.

    Mishima Plaza at Pasadena Center;

    C.

    Hamilton Park on Morris Jones Reservoir;

    D.

    Median divider strip on Sierra Madre Boulevard;

    E.

    Civil defense and rifle and pistol ranges;

    F.

    Overland Plaza;

    G.

    Robinson Center.
