§ 2.385.030. Designation of employees by city manager.

  • The city manager shall designate in writing by name and job classification all employees who are to be authorized to make arrests pursuant to this chapter, and the names and job classifications shall be reported in writing to the city council and filed with the city clerk before such authorization shall be effective. The designation shall be in the discretion of the city manager, and nothing contained herein shall require the city manager to designate persons employed in job classifications named in this chapter to be able to arrest as authorized by this chapter.
