§ 13.12.030. Filing deadline.

  • Every utility company maintaining or operating any overhead electrical works shall within 90 days from the time Ordinance 1337 takes effect, file with the city engineer, charts, blue or brown prints or drawings, on cloth or paper of the size and quality specified for maps in Section 13.12.020, showing all of the styles of standard overhead construction used by such utility company. Such chart, blue or brown print or drawing shall show the height of poles (including portion underground), the proportion thereof underground, the number, length and spacing of crossarms and all other details of construction affecting or which may affect the amount and location of aerial space occupied by construction. Each of the styles of construction shall be designated by a letter or number so that each may be referred to and identified in the description filed pursuant to this section. Within 90 days from the time Ordinance 1337 becomes effective each utility company operating or maintaining any overhead electrical works shall file with the city engineer complete descriptions of its works stating the purpose for which such works are maintained, including a statement of maximum voltage carried, showing the approximate routes of such works by reference to streets and sides of streets, the style of construction used, referring to the chart, blue or brown print or drawing herein required, and all variations from the standard styles of construction shown on the chart, blue or brown line print or drawing, if such variations affect the amount or location of aerial space occupied, in such manner that by inspection of such description and reference to such charts, blue or brown prints or drawings the details of construction and the aerial space occupied in any and all streets, alleys and public places in the city occupied by such works may be ascertained.
