The holder of any permit issued under this chapter shall defend, indemnify, and hold
harmless the City of Pasadena, its city council, officers, and employees to the maximum
extent permitted by law, from any loss or liability or damage, including expenses
and costs, for bodily or personal injury, and for property damage sustained by any
person as a result of the installation, use, or maintenance of the permittee's facilities
subject to this chapter.
