§ 10.60.110. Frame numbers.

It is unlawful for any person wilfully or maliciously to remove, destroy, mutilate or alter the number of any bicycle frame registered pursuant to this chapter. It is also unlawful for any person to remove, destroy, mutilate or alter any license plate, seal or registration certificate during the time in which the plate, seal or registration certificate is operative; provided, however, that nothing in this chapter shall prohibit the chief of police from stamping letters or numbers on the frames of bicycles.
