§ 10.60.070. Requirements of secondhand dealers.
A.
All persons engaged in the business of buying secondhand bicycles are required to make a daily report to the chief of police giving the name and address of the person from whom each bicycle is purchased or repossessed, the frame number thereof, and the number of the license plate found thereon, if any.
B.
All persons engaged in the business of selling new or secondhand bicycles are required to make a daily report to the chief of police of all sales made by such dealers. The report shall include the name and address of each person to whom sold, the kind of bicycle sold, the description thereof, the frame number thereof and the number of the license plate attached thereto, if any.
C.
Compliance with this section shall be in lieu of the requirements of Section 6 of Ordinance No. 1585, codified at Chapter 5.56, insofar as dealings in bicycles are concerned.
