§ 10.52.030. Trucks prohibited on designated state highways.

  • The use of the state highways set forth in this section by any vehicle exceeding a maximum gross weight of 3 tons is prohibited unless otherwise exempted by this chapter.

    A.

    That portion of state highway commonly known as Pasadena Avenue, commencing at the intersection of California Boulevard and extending northerly to Walnut Street. An alternate route in the city which is unrestricted as to weight is designated as follows:

    Beginning at any point and traveling the shortest route to Fair Oaks Avenue.

    B.

    That portion of state highway commonly known as St. John Avenue, commencing at the intersection of Del Mar Boulevard and extending northerly to Walnut Street. An alternate route in the city which is unrestricted as to weight is designated as follows:

    Beginning at any point and traveling the shortest route to Fair Oaks Avenue.

    C.

    That portion of state highway commonly known as Corson Street, commencing at the intersection of Walnut Street and extending easterly to Altadena Drive. An alternate route in the city which is unrestricted as to weight is designated as follows:

    Beginning at any point and traveling the shortest route to Walnut Street or Foothill Boulevard.

    D.

    That portion of state highway commonly known as Maple Street, commencing at the intersection of Walnut Street and extending easterly to Sierra Madre Boulevard. An alternate route in the city which is unrestricted as to weight is designated as follows:

    Beginning at any point and traveling the shortest route to Walnut Street or Foothill Boulevard.
